At Piccolo, we understand that once you’ve chosen the perfect wooden toy, you want it delivered as quickly as possible. This page details the time it takes for us to prepare your order before it is officially shipped.
What is Order Processing Time?
Order processing time is the duration from when you successfully place your order until the moment the package is collected by our courier partner and tracking is generated. It includes tasks like item picking, quality check, packaging, and label creation.
1. Standard Processing Timeline
Most in-stock items follow our standard processing schedule:

Timeline: 1–2 Business Days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).

Cut-off Time: Orders placed before 1:00 PM (CET) often ship the same day or the next business day. Orders placed after 1:00 PM (CET) will begin processing on the following business day.

Weekend Orders: Orders placed on Friday afternoon, Saturday, or Sunday will begin processing on the following Monday morning.
2. Exceptions and Specific Item Processing
Some products require extra attention or are subject to different timelines:

| Personalized or Engraved Items | 3–5 Business Days | Due to the time required for precision engraving and curing, these items take longer. The extended processing time is always noted on the product page. |
| High-Volume Sales Periods | Up to 3 Business Days | During major sales events (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas), volume is high. We appreciate your patience as processing may take slightly longer than the standard 1–2 days. |
| Pre-Order Items | See Product Page | Pre-order items ship according to the estimated date provided on the product description page. Your entire order will ship once all items are available. |
3. What Happens After Processing?
Once processing is complete:

Shipping Notification: You will receive a Shipping Confirmation Email containing your tracking number and a link to track your package's journey.

Delivery Time Starts: The delivery time (the timeline you see on our "Delivery Time and Costs" page) officially starts once the courier confirms they have the package.

You can check the current status of your order by logging into your Piccolo account or by using the link provided in your initial order confirmation email.
